The MIVV Switch Off Key is a plug & play on-board diagnostics (OBD) electronic device for Euro 5+ motorcycles. Its function is to turn off the check engine light that might come on when replacing the original catalytic converter with an aftermarket one, as this change can alter the oxygen parameters from those preset by the original ECU configuration.
By preventing the Check Engine light from coming on, the correct functioning of the on-board diagnostics is maintained. The device does not intervene in any way with the original programming of the engine control unit or other electronic parameters of the vehicle.

Approved models pass the MOT, as long as they have the db killer and catalytic converter installed.
