What material is it made of?

Both the exhaust body and the collectors have been elegantly designed to go in harmony with the aesthetics of the YAMAHA MT 07 14-16 and the materials that have been used for its manufacture are the following:

• The body of the silencer is made of titanium. This not only allows for a considerable reduction in weight (as titanium is one of the lightest metals of all components used in the manufacture of exhausts), but also for the rapid dissipation of accumulated heat. The silencer is made from patented titanium alloys, which are 3 times stronger than other 'commercial' titanium alloys. The high quality and strength of this material makes it difficult to manufacture, but results in much more durable, stable and highly heat-resistant products.

Is the Akrapovic S-Y7R1-HAFT homologated?

• Noise emission certification DB(a): YES
• CO2 emission approval: YES, but it will only be approved if the P-KAT-040 catalytic converter is installed. The P-KAT-040 catalytic converter is supplied as an accessory to the product and must be purchased separately.

IMPORTANT: This S-Y7R1-HAFT exhaust will be fully approved for road use and to pass the MOT when the P-KAT-040 catalytic converter is installed. When you purchase the exhaust, it comes with its respective approval certificates so that you can present them to both the MOT and the authorities, if the latter require it.
