Is the STR-1 M.HU.010.L4C homologated?

For this MIVV M.HU.010.L4C silencer for HUSQVARNA 701 ENDURO/SUPERMOTO 21-24 to be homologated, it must meet the following two homologations:

  • Sound emission homologation db(A): YES. This product is homologated according to one of the following regulations: EC European Commission - Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council No. 97/24 EC chap. 9 and subsequent updates or ECE/UN - ECE/UN Regulation No. 92 and subsequent updates. Noise emissions comply with the homologation decree parameters only if the optional catalyst is installed. However, the catalyst that comes as an accessory must be installed.
  • CO2 emission homologation: YES. (However, for the exhaust system to be homologated, it is necessary to install the optional homologated catalyst, according to European Directive 97/24 chap. 5 and subsequent updates, or according to European Community Regulation (EU) no. 134/2014 (Euro 4+5)). The catalyst is purchased separately and is found as an accessory for the product

Do they pass the MOT?

Approved models pass the MOT, as long as they have the db killer and catalytic converter installed.

Will I be fined if it is not approved?

Almost all of our non-homologated models include removable DB killers. If the DB killer is installed, fines are not usually incurred.
