Is the S-R1 Y.071.LR1T homologated?

For this MIVV Y.071.LR1T silencer for YAMAHA YZF R7 22-24 to be homologated, it must meet the following two homologations:

  • Homologation for sound emissions db(A): YES. This product is homologated according to one of the following regulations: EC European Commission - Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council No. 97/24 EC chap. 9 and subsequent updates or ECE/UN - Regulation ECE/UN No 92 and subsequent updates. Noise emissions comply with the homologation decree parameters only if the optional catalytic converter is installed. However, you must have the catalytic converter installed which comes as an accessory.
  • Homologation for CO2 emissions: YES. (However, for the exhaust system to be homologated, it is necessary to install the optional homologated catalytic converter, according to European Directive 97/24 chap. 5 and subsequent updates, or according to European Community Regulation (EU) no. 134/2014 (Euro 4+5)). The catalytic converter is purchased separately and is found as an accessory for the product

¿Hay que reprogramar la centralita?

Con un slip-on normalmente no es necesario. Con una línea completa, o si se quita el catalizador, es recomendable ajustar el mapa de la centralita en un taller para sacar el máximo rendimiento.

Approved models pass the MOT, as long as they have the db killer and catalytic converter installed.

Will I be fined if it is not approved?

Almost all of our non-homologated models include removable DB killers. If the DB killer is installed, fines are not usually incurred.
